Unofficial Companion Apps¶

The apps on this page were built by members of the community. They are used with your own Speakr server through the REST API, usually with an API token. They are maintained by their authors, not by the Speakr project, and they have not been tested by the Speakr maintainer. Please report problems with an app to its own repository.

Minutes for Speakr¶

Platforms: Android, Windows. Source: github.com/Inrego/SpeakrApp (MIT).

A companion app for recording on the device and uploading the recordings to your Speakr server, with automatic recording and automatic uploads from a folder. The Android package is built and published by the project's public release workflow.

MeetingRecorder¶

Platform: Windows 10 and 11. Source: github.com/Feridoun/MeetingRecorder (MIT).

A tray app for recording both sides of a Teams, Zoom, Meet or WhatsApp call, the microphone together with the other participants, without a virtual audio cable. A recording is started and stopped with a hotkey and uploaded to Speakr with an API token, with Speakr tags chosen from the tray menu. Uploads are retried when the server cannot be reached. It is installed from the project's releases page or with winget install Feridoun.MeetingRecorder.
